UCMS

As I reflect on my tenure at the Union Christian Matriculation

Higher Secondary school ,only one emotion fills my heart- gratitude. Firstly, for the inspiration I experienced at a personal level in the portals of this institution. Joining the UC team was a calling in life for me.

A Calling to educate and to empower ! A calling to sow the seeds of God’s love and grace in the lives of many students and adults ,to nurture it and to see it grow .Unbelievable, but true, as I know that the grace of God finds people, willing and passionate-equips and enables them to enrich lives.

Many years have passed by but the learnings I had here remain fresh and I feel honoured to put them down here.

This vibrant institution taught me that learning is lifelong, and if you set your heart and mind you will be able to learn many things you thought was impossible.

My next learning is indeed a very valuable one. In every child, you can see the fingerprints of the creator and I need to deal with that image with a lot of care. And finally, I learnt for sure that every thing that you are and you have is a gift from God and you are here to just give it back to others in the best possible way. This was possible only because of the unwavering faith in God we had as a team, the tireless efforts of my precious colleagues ,our brilliant students and a dynamic School Board that defined this challenging but greatly rewarding journey. Union Christian stands tall shaping lives with wisdom and grace. May the Lord prosper this place to reach greater heights.

The best is yet to come.

As I pen these words marking the close of my chapter at Union Christian Matriculation Higher Secondary School, I am filled with deep gratitude. To follow in the footsteps of dedicated leaders was both a privilege and a challenge I embraced with humility and faith.

Every day at Union Christian was a reminder that each brick carried the dreams of generations, and each child held the promise of a brighter tomorrow. It was more than just heading an institution — it was about stewarding a legacy, carrying forward the values of Christ-centred education, and helping young hearts discover their purpose.

In my time here, I witnessed how love, discipline, and grace can transform lives. I saw students evolve not just academically, but spiritually and emotionally, as they were nurtured by a team of passionate and selfless educators. Their unwavering commitment to excellence and to each child’s growth became my constant encouragement.

I leave with profound lessons etched in my heart — that leadership is servanthood, that every child is a reflection of God’s handiwork, and that faith, when lived out daily, becomes the most powerful teaching tool.

I am ever grateful to the School Board for their steadfast support, to my colleagues for walking every high and low with courage and prayer, and to our beloved students — who were and will always remain the heart of Union Christian. As I move on, I carry with me the love, strength, and wisdom this institution poured into me. I believe, with all my heart, that God’s plan for this school is only beginning to unfold.Union Christian will continue to shine as a beacon of truth, learning, and grace. The seeds sown will bear fruit beyond what we can imagine.
